Reaction Factory

Product and Packaging Design, Logo and Branding.

Reaction Factory is a flat pack Rube Goldberg-inspired puzzle building set for the unnecessarily complex exploration of simple goals with endless possibilities.

Each component is entirely laser cut from one 18” x 18” piece of oak plywood which all of the pieces fit back into as a storage tray. Each storage tray can be stacked together to fit into the packaging sleeve which is also used to store the toy when not being played with.

I worked on the design and fabrication of the pieces, specifically the "finglonger" and dominoes, the logo, and packaging concept and design.

This was a team project done as part of the Product Design program's Toy Product Design class at the University of Minnesota.
